Coach Conder is entering his 4rd season for the Plainsmen and his 21th season of coaching with recent stops in Texas and Arizona.  Coach Conder has been a part of 6 state championship games winning 4 throughout his 20 years of coaching.  His oldest son Cash is finishing his education at Texas Tech.  His son Chase a former Plainsmen will be a Junior at Grand Canyon University. Brady, the youngest of three boys will be attending Waller Middle School and will be playing 8th grade football for the Plainsmen. Cameron and his wife Shanan have been married for 21 years and enjoy watching all 3 of their boys fulfill their dreams!



Coach McGill is entering his 2nd season for the Plainsmen and his 8th season coaching with stops in North Dakota and South Dakota.  Before EHS, he spent four seasons coaching for Mayville State University in North Dakota.  Coach McGill was the Defensive Coordinator/Linebackers coach for his last 2 seasons at Mayville State.  The 2016 defense highlighted the four seasons by ranking 7th in the country in total defense.  Before coaching at Mayville State, McGill coached football at Bon Home High School for 2 seasons while finishing up his bachelor’s degree.  He has coached or played for 3 conference championships at the high school and college level.

McGill is a Tyndall, South Dakota native and graduated from Bon Homme High School.  He played football for Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa.  McGill completed his B.S. in Physical Education from the University of South Dakota and his master’s degree in Leadership in Physical Education and Sport at North Dakota State University.  He will be teaching Computer Applications at Enid High School.  He lives with his fiancé, Jenna, in Enid.



Went to and graduated Enid high in 95 as an All-American linebacker, went to The University of Nebraska played on two national championship teams, won a Big 8 title and two Big 12 titles.  Stayed on as an undergraduate assistant DE coach.  Played Arena Football and Professional Indoor Football for 5 years before retiring due to injuries.  He coached DE/LB at Beatrice High School before moving to Enid.  He’s been coaching for football 8 years in Enid, Also is the Head Boys track coach.  He also would like to thank wife Barbara Noack-Sears, Kids: Courtney 22, JaeShaun 18, TajaDea 16, AdaraKane 12, Luka 10, Maggie 8, Ja’Ce 7, Zadee 5



Coach Miller has coached a total of 3 years. This will be his first year coaching varsity for Enid High School, where he will be coaching safeties. He will be starting his second year teaching physical education at Emerson Middle School. He previously coached one year for Enid 8th grade and one year for Canton High School, where he was a quarterback/secondaries coach. He graduated high school from Canton in Canton, Ok where he was an All-Star selection and K-101 All-Star in football, as well as part of a team that went to a class B state championship. He was part of a 2-time state champion rugby team, and received all-state honors during his time on the team. He graduated college from SWOSU in Weatherford, Ok with a bachelors degree in Health and Physical Education. He and his wife Taylor reside in Enid, where she is a RN at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center. He views coaching as an opportunity to inspire young men to work hard to achieve any dreams they may want to pursue in life.



Coach Jake Hayes grew up in Plano, TX. He played for Head Coach Steve Hayes in high school at Trinity Christian Academy (’11). While at Trinity, they made 4 straight trips to the playoffs compiling a 5-4 record in those postseason contests with one state championship appearance. He graduated from Evangel University in Springfield, MO (’16) with a B.S. in Physical Education. During his time at Evangel he also coached on the defensive staff for the Crusaders. During his 3 years coaching defense he coached corners in year 1, and linebackers for the remaining two years. During his time at Evangel, the team compiled a 13-19 record under head coach Brenton Illum while competing in the Heart of America Athletic Conference (NAIA). In his duties as linebackers coach, he helped tutor two all-conference performers in 2015 and one in 2014. Additionally, in 2015, he saw one of those linebackers end the season leading the conference in tackles. Hayes also teaches P.E. at Hayes Elementary School. Jake has been married to Natalie Hayes for two years. Natalie teaches kindergarten at Taft Elementary.




Kyle Young is a 1993 graduate of Enid High School and an alumnus of University of Central Oklahoma. He is in his third year at Enid High School, teaching US History and coaching football. Kyle is Defensive Coordinator & coaching outside linebackers this season. This is his 20th year teaching & 21st year coaching in Oklahoma & Texas. 

Kyle’s wife, Nikki, teaches 2nd grade in Kingfisher. Daughter, Kylee, is a Freshman at Central Oklahoma & son, Coltyn, is a Junior at Kingfisher High School. 



Graduate of Altus High School. Played in State Championship game.  1969 Lineman of the Year (Now Def player of year).

Scholarship to University of Oklahoma. Co-captain and All American Center on 1974 National Championship team. Drafted by Dallas Cowboys with 113th pick in 1975 NFL Draft. Played in Super Bowl X. After severe knee injury, spent time with Minnesota Vikings and San Francisco 49ers. Played for head coaches Chuck Fairbanks, Barry Switzer, Tom Landry, Bud Grant and Bill Walsh.

Have 2 sons that played at Norman High School, and went on to play FB at SMU and University of North Texas, respectively.

Coached the last 17 years in Texas.

Married to Cindy, who teaches AP US History at Enid High School.



Quarles enters his 6th season with the Plainsmen. Coach Quarles brings playoff experiences having coached in post-season contests in both El Reno and Broken Arrow. Quarles teaches World History at Enid High School and has previous coaching stints at Broken Arrow under Ron Lancaster, and El Reno under Tom Cobble (both former Plainsmen coaches). He has a four year old son named Camden.



Coach Mulanax is returning to his second year of coaching here at Enid. He is a 1984 graduate of El Reno High school, where he played quarterback his senior year under Head Coach Tom Cobble.   During his senior year, he led his team to District Champions, while being honored as team captain, District Player of the Year and Conference Back of the Year. 

This will be his thirteenth year of coaching football.  Coaching positions in New Hampshire at Monadnock Regional Jr/Sr High School and a semi-pro team, the Monadnock Marauders and Oklahoma schools of OBA, El Reno and Enid.  He is an University of Oklahoma fan (with two of his children graduating from OU) and a New England Patriots fan.  He holds a Master’s of Education degree from NWOSU. 

His greatest accomplishments are his kids:  Kendon A, Nathaniel “Tank” and Bethany.  Both sons played football under Coach Tom Cobble.  Kendon A. played as a lineman in Enid during the state championship run and graduated in 2008.  Tank, during his senior year, help lead El Reno to an undefeated regular season as a linebacker (2009), with their only loss in the semi-finals.  Both sons are married, Kendon/Rebecca and Tank/Justine, and live in the Oklahoma City area.  Bethany was captain her senior of her volleyball team in El Reno and led them to the most wins in school history.  Bethany started her career this year as a third grade teacher in Mustang, OK. 

Coach Mulanax is starting his fifth year teaching at Enid Public Schools and resides in Enid. 



Coach English is entering his 5th year coaching Plainsmen football. English graduated from Ponca City High School 2004. Played college football at Friends University(Wichita,KS). English is PE teacher at Waller and Longfellow. Married to Maria have one daughter together Joslyn. Four boys Z.J. Washington(17), Marzell Washington(15), Lucian(8) and Eli English(6).



Bruce Richmond is the Junior High Football and Basketball Director and  head 9th grade football coach basketball and  MS tennis coach he hopes to make an impact on the kids”  lives in sports and in everyday life. He encourages them to be the best they can be on and off the field or court, He encourages all students to set goals and strive to achieve them. Before becoming a coach for EPS, Bruce work for 20years at advance Food Company where he several departments ending his career as a manager. He was always a leader and looked up to by his employees and colleagues. Bruce was born in Washington D.C moved to Oklahoma where he attended Enid school. Play football at Chisholm high school where he became a power lifting state Champ graduating in 1984. He was a walk on SWOSU for 2 years. He made his home in Enid where he resides with his wife and Daughter and Grandkids.



Coach Marques Odom is the proud father of Amyah Odom, his pride and joy.  Coach Odom grew up in Enid, graduated from EHS in 2006 and was a member of the Plainsman football team.  Upon graduating from EHS, Marques attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University on a football scholarship.   Marques graduated from SWOSU with his Bachelor degree in Parks and Recreation with a minor in multidisciplinary studies and a Masters of Education.   After graduating from SWOSU, he returned to Enid and coached the defensive backs for the Plainsman.  He played semi-pro football in the Central Football League for 5 years with the Enid Enforcers and currently plays in the Gridiron Development Football League for the Oklahoma Outlaws.
