BOOSTER CLUB MEETING TOMORROW NIGHT
Due to a scheduling conflict, the EHS Soccer Booster Club meeting has been rescheduled for tomorrow night, instead of Tuesday. It will be at 6:30 p.m. in the school cafeteria. All parents are invited and encouraged to attend.
PHOTO ORDERS DUE TOMORROW
All players have been provided with an order form to purchase photographs from Susan Glasgow Photography. If your family would like to place an order, payment and the completed form are due tomorrow.
GAME DAY CHANGE THIS WEEK
Please note that we will play Mustang this week on THURSDAY. (The original schedule said Friday.)
GO PACERS – BEAT MUSTANG
Thanks to everyone who traveled to Putnam City to support the EHS soccer teams on Friday. Even though we came up short, it was great to see so many fans in the stand. This week, we’ll take what we learned, make adjustments and come back stronger against Mustang on THURSDAY. We hope to see you there!
NOTES FROM FEBRUARY 12
We’re ready to kick-off a great season! Pacers will take the field at Selby Stadium for two games/scrimmages this Thursday – 5 p.m. vs. Midwest City and 7:30 p.m. vs. Bishop McGuinness. Big 10 Conference teams across the state will play similar games, and the results will be used to seed our tournament this weekend in Lawton. We’ll find out Friday when our games will be on Saturday. We will let players and parents know as soon as possible when the bus will be leaving for Lawton and when we will play. (Just a heads up – it will probably be an early morning!)
T-Shirts Coming Soon!
Since the fall, players and the Booster Club have been selling EHS soccer t-shirts. We will be sending them home this week with the players. Please make sure they are delivered to those who placed an order. Thank you to everyone who supported our teams!
NOTES FROM FEBRUARY 5
BOOSTER CLUB MEETING
You are invited to the next Booster Club meeting TUESDAY NIGHT (February 7) at 6:30 p.m. in the EHS cafeteria. Please use the parking lot between the University Center and the food court, and then enter through the southeast food court doors. We hope you can join us!
RIDE RANGERS RIDE!
Congratulations to Hudsyn Childs and Lizbeth Ramirez who signed to play soccer for Northwestern Oklahoma State University on National Signing Day! Although we love watching them play in blue, it will be exciting to see them continue their careers in red next fall. Go Pacers and go Rangers!
Susan Glasgow with Susan Glasgow Photography will be taking individual and team photos during practice on Wednesday. Mrs. Glasgow will provide forms so parents or players can place an order for photos, if they would like.
Each player has been given a form to complete for her player biography, which will be used in this year’s programs. Please remind your daughter to return the bio form as soon as possible.
NOTES FROM JANUARY 29
We had a great turn-out at the Booster Club pot-luck dinner last week. Thank you for making it a success and for supporting the Pacer/Plainsmen soccer family. We are looking forward to a great season!
Congratulations to Hudsyn Childs and Lizbeth Ramirez who will be playing soccer for Coach Craig Liddell at NWOSU next fall! A signing party will be hosted in their honor this Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. in the EHS cafeteria. We hope you can join us for this special event.
BOOSTER CLUB MEETING
You are invited to the next Booster Club meeting on Tuesday, February 7 at 6:30 p.m. in the EHS cafeteria. Please use the parking lot between the University Center and the food court, and then enter through the southeast food court doors.
I apologize for any confusion regarding team socks. If the socks you have are white with a small black Nike swoosh on the front shin (home games) and blue with a small white Nike swoosh on the front shin (away games), they should match sufficiently and it will not be necessary to purchase a new pair. If you need socks, they are available at Soccer World for about $13/pair. OSSAA has strict rules that all players must wear matching uniforms and socks. If you have any questions about what pairs are needed or if you have the correct ones, please let me know.
TEAM GAME DAY SHIRTS
After talking with our athletes about what they would like to have, we are in the processes of selecting reasonably priced “game day” shirts for players. I will let you know as soon as I have more information.
The Booster Club is still seeking sponsorships to help with team meals for away games. Each probable traveling player is asked to seek a sponsorship/pay $20 for meals for the entire season. More information is available in the note below:
If you haven’t already, please like EHS Pacer Soccer on Facebook. As the season kicks-off, we’ll have more information, photos and announcements to share.
